Trust and accountability
How we write and review guidance
LandTheRole is operated by Horizon Frame Limited. Our guidance is written for UK professionals making deliberate career moves and is accountable to the standards below.
Our editorial principles
Useful before searchable
Every page must answer a distinct question and provide a method, worked example, checklist or original analysis that remains useful if the reader never creates an account.
Evidence before certainty
We cite primary or credible named sources for factual claims that depend on external research. We distinguish published evidence, product observations and editorial judgement. We avoid universal claims about ATS software or employer behaviour where practice varies.
No fabricated career evidence
Examples are illustrative and clearly presented as examples. Product guidance never encourages users to invent responsibilities, achievements, qualifications or metrics.
UK context
We use British English and consider UK hiring conventions, employment context, salary language and competency-based processes. Advice is general information, not legal, financial or mental-health treatment.
Review process
- Define one reader question and the decision the page should improve.
- Check for overlap with existing guidance.
- Research time-sensitive or empirical claims using named sources.
- Draft the direct answer, method, example, limits and practical next step.
- Review for accuracy, unsupported certainty, UK relevance and accessibility.
- Record a visible reviewed date and revisit when evidence or hiring practice materially changes.
AI assistance
AI may assist with structure, language review or analysis. It is not treated as a source. Factual claims require a traceable source or are written as qualified editorial guidance. Pages are reviewed before publication.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, stale source or unclear claim, email [email protected] with the page URL and supporting detail. Material corrections update the reviewed date.
Commercial relationship
LandTheRole’s guidance may link to relevant LandTheRole tools. Those links are clearly presented and do not change the editorial answer. We do not publish paid guest posts or sell third-party placement inside career guidance.
